การไหลของสารน้ำหรือยา เข้าทางหลอดเลือดดำ โดยสามารถตั้งค่าปริมาตร อัตราการไหล และระยะเวลา
ในการให้ได้ตามความเหมาะสม ทำให้ได้รับสารน้ำหรือยา ได้อย่างแม่นยำและต่อเนื่อง ลดความเสี่ยงจากการให้ยาเกิน
ขนาดหรือน้อยเกินไป มีระบบเตือนเมื่อเกิดปัญหา ช่วยให้ทำงานได้สะดวก และมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น
